曼联名宿泰迪-谢林汉姆表示，罗伊-基恩对迈克尔-卡里克的严厉批评，可能源于他自己未获主教练职位而产生的“挫败感”。
本月早些时候鲁本-阿莫林被解雇后，曼联任命卡里克在赛季结束前接管球队，同时俱乐部继续寻找正式主帅人选。
